With few clues, investigators are soon stymied, and Peter begins to look into the outbreak himself. As he uncovers what seems to be a bioweapon, a past case suddenly comes back to haunt him, threatening all he holds dear. Finding himself in a no-win situation, Peter bets everything in the name of truth and honor. This compulsively readable
thriller boasts a whiplash pace, a topical plot, and nonstop action. Edlund fans won’t be disappointed.
