Lowell (Midnight in Ruby Bayou) expertly blends romance and suspense in a novel rich with undersea treasure hunting and deception. Meanwhile, divers are disappearing, and Holden notes a disparity in the diving schedules and the amount of treasure recovered. The greedy culprit dials up the danger, and Holden and Kate dial up the passion, all the way to the pulse-pounding conclusion.

In fact, they've sent retired diver Holden Cameron to oversee the Donnelly's work, since the Brits suspect someone is stealing the gold and jewels the divers bring up. Added to the drama is a tropical storm that's about to descend and shut down the dive.
