Four Nights with the Duke

Susan Duerden's soft, entrancing voice lends itself to this clever audio romance. Young and insecure Mia Carrington falls desperately in love with Evander Brody, a future duke. But an embarrassing incident results in Mia's publicly proclaiming him to be the last man she would ever marry. Years later, she comes to regret those words when she needs to marry Vander to keep her young nephew out of the clutches of a wicked uncle. Duerden excels at British accents, and her portrayals of young nephew Charlie and guff but bumbling Chuffy are especially well done.
