Sands has written a number of well-received, spirited, sensual vampire romances involving the Argeneau family. The three that follow are her latest and will be released consecutively. Elvi Black ("The Accidental Vampire"), a recent, naïve vampire, advertises for companionship and attracts the attention of Victor Argeneau, as well as someone who is out to do her in. It's up to bachelor Victor to protect her. Self-made, independent businesswoman Inez Urso finds a loveand a lifeshe truly didn't expect when she falls for her business partner, Thomas Argeneau, in "Vampires Are Forever". Marguerite Argeneau, fledgling PI and vampire, is the target of someone who wants to behead her. It's up to Julian Notte in "Vampire, Interruped" to keep her safe in the ninth book in the series.
