At 31, Samantha Brady, who hears the tick-tock of her biological clock, is at loose ends. She has had a string of dead-end jobs while waiting for her book to be published and to settle down with the man of her dreams, her roommate, Jack Turner. But they are reluctant to jeopardize their friendship with a romantic entanglement.
