The best place to hide is in plain sight. This is exactly why Rosalind Marberry applies for a job as Sir Jasper Lynch's new secretary. After all, the last place Jasper, captain of the Nighthawks, would think of looking for the mysterious revolutionary leader known as Mercury is Nighthawks' headquarters. Working so closely with Jasper has another advantage for Rosalind: she will be privy to any information the Echelonthe blue-blooded nobles who rule Londonmay have about the bombing attack that nearly took out the royal court. Rosalind desperately hopes that this information will lead her to her missing younger brother, Jeremy, but this mission will require her to spend an inordinate amount of time working very closely with Jasper.
