As they become lovers and start to think about taking it further, Helen jealously attempts to sabotage their romance. Arend’s skillfully written erotic passion never veers off into the improbably athletic, though readers unfamiliar with her writing may be surprised by the ménage scene, and Hope and Matt are nicely realistic as they deal with the interventions of their various siblings.
